Read Affinity!
I haven't seen Fingersmith, but will look for it. (We've been contemplating joining NetFlix for awhile now. ) Sopfa Coppola wrote, produced and directed Lost in Translation, which I thought was quite good. She would probably do well with a Waters book.

Chris - Velvet and Fingersmith were my two favorites! You will love Affinity (I'm guessing). The most unusual stretch Waters makes, in my opinion, is with Night Watch. For some reason, I really wanted more from that book - even though it did receive very positive acclaim. It's possible that many of the people who read and loved Night Watch hadn't read Waters before. (?)
Did you see the PBS version of Velvet? I missed most of it but can't imagine it did justice to Waters. Incidentally, there are rumors that someone is making a major motion picture of the same name that is due out in 2009. (But again, I'd be surprised if it was anywhere near as good as the book!)

What's your favorite Sarah Waters book? I've read everything she's written and am curious to know what you liked best!

Hello Chris :-)
Thank you so much for the friend request as well as the nice message. I'm really glad you downloaded the free PDF e-book. Besides having the ability to be downloaded endless times, I also like using it to quickly locate a particular section from the book. I just hold down on the control button and press "F" before entering my keyword(s). This feature works a lot better than skimming through the paperback version, unless you know the book well. q8-P
I hope you enjoy the e-book. It is my great pleasure to do whatever I can to help spread the free teachings.
Thanks for your time.
Take care.
Kevin :-)
